Statement of Faith

We believe that marriage was ordained by God the Father in the Garden of Eden, and that marriage is a covenant relationship between one biological male, and one biological female.

We believe that each individual was created in the image of God, “Male and female he created them”, (Gen 1:27) and in doing so, God created two distinct individuals that become “one flesh” through the institution of marriage, (Gen 2:24) and that to reject your biological sex is to reject the image God created for you.

We believe that marriage reflects Christ’s relationship with his church, (Eph 5:31-32) and it is the backbone of a stable society. (Mal 2:15)

We believe that sex is a gift to marriage and that any type of sexual activity outside of the marriage to include but not limited to, lust of the eye and the use of pornography, is a sin against God, and unfaithfulness to the spouse. (Matt 5:28) 

We believe that homosexual or bisexual activity is in direct conflict with God’s design of marriage. (Lev 20:13)

We believe that the husband was designated as the head over the wife (Eph 5:23) and is required to accomplish that role through love and servant leadership as demonstrated by Jesus. The husband must also submit himself to God and conduct himself in a Godly manner at all times in order to foster a marriage relationship that will allow the wife to willingly submit to her husband. (Eph 5:22-28)

We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who repent their sin and seek his mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:38)

Established in 2018

In 2018 God laid on Jeff's heart that we needed to create a marriage conference.  When he informed Yolanda of what God had said, she was not a fan.  God continued working on her heart until 3 months later she gave and we started listening and writing.  In doing this God was actually repairing our marriage as well.​

Our Goal

Our goal is to highlight what the bible has to say about God’s intent for marriage, and provide you tools from scripture that will aid you in meeting that intent through oneness, communication, serving, self-control, forgiveness and love by keeping God in the center of your life.  We want to give you the time and space to converse with your spouse, this is why there are limited slots, to give you privacy.  If you choose to share or ask for prayers we are open to helping you.​

What this is not:  The marriage conference is not a public sharing forum.  It is not a time to pick on anyone in particular, or to shame anyone publicly.  This is not a gossip session about others or each other.  What is shared here is up to you and it stays in the confines of the building.  We will not be asking any personal questions about your lives.
